The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki Coming to PS4 in Japan on April 23 and May 28, 2020

Nihon Falcom has revealed the Japanese release dates for The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki: Kai (Trails of Zero,) and The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki: Kai (Trails of Blue) for PlayStation 4. Zero no Kiseki: Kai will launch on April 23, 2020, while Ao no Kiseki: Kai will arrive later on May 28, 2020.  

Both Zero no Kiseki: Kai and Ao no Kiseki: Kai will feature full voice acting, high definition graphics, 60 FPS support, sounds and music improvements, and other new features. These include the "High Skip Mode" from the Kai games, which runs the story/events at 2 times normal speed and battles at 4. There is also the option to skip battle animations and a variety of UI enhancements. 

Save data from Zero no Kiseki: Kai and Ao no Kiseki: Kai are compatible with the upcoming The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki for PlayStation 4. Save data from either Zero no Kiseki: Kai or Ao no Kiseki: Kai can be used to unlock various bonuses in the game. 

Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kisekiare two connected titles developed by Nihon Falcom as a part of the larger The Legend of Heroes series. Together as a duology, they constitute the second story arc of the Trails sub-series, and take place three months after the end of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd and in a different country, Crossbell.

Zero no Kiseki was released in 2010 for PlayStation Portable. In 2011, the game was ported to PC for release in China and Japan. In 2012, it was later ported again for PlayStation Vita as Zero no Kiseki: Evolution, with improved visuals and full voice acting for the main story.

Ao no Kiseki was released in 2011 for PlayStation Portable, and also ported to PC for release in China. It was also ported again for PlayStation Vita as Ao no Kiseki: Evolution, again with improved visuals and full voice acting for the main story and released in Japan in June 2014.
