Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy Releases on PS4 and Switch on December 3 in Japan

Koei Tecmo has announced that Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and the Secret Fairy will release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on December 3 in Japan for 8,580 yen. The PC version will release in January 2021. The game is also planned to release in the West this Winter for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is the newest entry in the Atelier series, and a direct sequel to the hit title Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. Ryza returns as the protagonist, making history as the series’ first character to star in two successive titles. 


The game is set 3 years after the events of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. Ryza has continued to study alchemy on Kurken Island, and has become a teacher to the island's children. But she's begun to feel her alchemy skills have hit a limit. Events prompt her to travel to the capital city of Ashra-am Baird, where she not only reunites with her old friends Klaudia, Lent and Tao, but also encounters a mysterious fairy-like creature named Fi.

Main Features:

Ryza can now perform many new actions in the field, including diving underwater and using magic ropes to travel between separated areas. These abilities allow Ryza to reach unexpected locations that contain many new items to gather and synthesize.

Utilize several new synthesis systems including the new intuitive “Linkage Synthesis” system which gives Ryza the ability to rebuild items.

Take on your enemies using the “Real-time tactics” battle system,” which is now faster and more thrilling than ever!

Explore every nook and cranny of an expansive new field with even more content than the previous title, along with a host of new dungeons to explore!
